End of the Hiatus
Much has happened in the last few weeks which has been the reason for the brief hiatus.
First, Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio was a blast. I would like to thank everyone that came out to try the new Era of the Ninja: RPG. Most seemed to enjoy the game and the current rules. Minor modifications were requested, but overall the system seems to be solid. Players are able to pick up and understand the rules with relative ease and game play moves at a nice pace. Overall, the game seems to be in great shape. Modifications still need to be made, but we have come a long way since starting to project in January.
I am eager to introduce this to the members of GenCon next. Hope to see some of you there!
We have acquired some much needed art assets for the Era of the Ninja: Kami and Mahou expansion. The minion art has been completed and can be found on the Kami and Mahou page. The game will officially have twenty new minion types, a much needed addition compared to the meager six in the base game.
We could not have done this without the help of Zeiva.net. Without their help, we could not have acquired the much needed Kami artwork or the Minions. Without their help, we would still be looking for help. Their group has been able to meet our needs in preparation of the expansion.
If you have a chance, stop by their site (http://zeiva.net/). They do amazing work and create games as well. While working on assets for the expansion, they have created a game or two that should be available on Steam.
This brings the next major announcement. After much work and effort, the expansion is going to be a Stand-Alone expansion. The expansion will have enough content to be able to stand without need of owning the base game. If you have the base game, you can add the content to enhance your experience, but it will not be required.
With that said, we hope to have more information next week as we continue our preparations for GenCon. If you have any questions, feel free to send us an email at mythicalerasofwargames@yahoo.com.
